The Bannock Brae Story

Our story has been 5 generations in the making. The first chapter began in 1906 when current owner Keiren Luck’s great-great grandfather William Willis and his family settled on “Erinvale” at Meringandan just outside of Toowoomba on the beautiful Darling Downs.

Fast forward to today and our picturesque farm is still family owned, and now run by us, Kieren, Andrea, and our two boys Adam and Jordan.

“Erinvale” is an idyllic mix of Australian wildlife and open grazing country with two creeks meandering through our property.  The farm has ample cultivation to produce our own hay and grain requirements too, making it the perfect place to breed and raise our cattle & sheep.

“Bannock Brae”, a neighbouring property, was originally owned by Samuel, William Willis’s brother. We made it our home in 2001 and established our fully accredited butcher shop here in 2005 – hence the name, “Bannock Brae Meats”. Today our family combines our love of farming and beef cattle production with butchering expertise, to bring you the best possible product direct from our farm to your table.
